More than 400 pa- trons attended the event, which included a silent and live auction and a dinner party catered by Opus One. The emotional high point of the evening came in a bidding war for a seven-week-old puppy. The proud owners were Harvey and Sandra Roth, the general chair- men of the evening, and their son, Jay. Ford Motor Co. donated a 1994 Ford Mustang GT convert- ible which was won by Julie Taras, a guest of the Roths.
