Wolfe will be the 1994 chair- men of the Metropolitan Detroit Annual Citywide Gala, on behalf of the Jewish Theological Seminary, May 23 at Adat Shalom Synagogue. James Safran is a member of the board of directors and was re- cently elected board secretary for Congregation Shaarey Zedek. He is CEO of Safran Printing Company and Microforms, Inc. He is a board member of International Business Forms Industries. Active in Jewish communal life, Mr. Safran is president of the Detroit chapter of the American Technion Society, as well as a national officer. He is past president of the American/Israel Cham- ber of Commerce, of the American/Israel Education Institute, as Lawrence Wolfe well as the Young Adult Division of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit. Lawrence Wolfe serves on the executive committee of Adat Shalom Synagogue. He is vice president and secretary of Production Tool Supply Company, a multi-branch distributor of industrial tools and supplies. He is on the board of directors of the Detroit Branch of Men's ORT as well as the Jewish Community Center where is co-chairman of the JCC Cultural Arts Committee. Also, he is co-chair- man of the Federation AJC Industrial and Automotive Division and chairman of the Israel Bonds Long Range Planning Committee. Mr. Wolfe is a past chairman of the New Leadership Division of Israel Bonds for Metro Detroit. Each synagogue has appointed chairpersons to spearhead their congregation's efforts.
