hortly after Eric White, 7, arrived Sunday at
the Jimmy Prentis Morris Jewish Communi-
ty Center, he had his picture taken behind a
cutout of a biblical character and played bas-
ketball.
With so many activities to choose from, he
was not sure what he wanted to do next.
The pony rides offered outside the JCC
seemed to be a favorite for most of the children,
especially Eric's older sister, Marla.
Neigh-
The Family Fun Day, sponsored by the Neigh-
borhood Project, the Jewish Community Cen-
ter and Jewish Experiences For Families
(JEFF), adopted an ancient theme to tie into
the biblical play-
ground that will
vol-
be built by vol-
unteers at JPM
the
during
Fourth of July
weekend.
Sheyna Wexelberg-
Clouser watched as her
6-year-old daughter,
Rena, had her face
painted and made pro-
jects at the various sta-
tions.
"She is having a great
time," Ms. Wexelberg-
Clouser said. "It's nice to
have activities that re-
inforce what the kids
learn in school." 0
