In Concert

The Chamber Music Society of
Detroit will close its 50th sea-
son of world-class concerts by
presenting the Kronos Quartet
in its second Detroit perfor-
mance 8 p.m. May 13 at De-
troit's Music Hall Center for the

Combining a unique musical
vision with a fearless dedication
to experimentation, Kronos has
assembled a body of work un-
paralleled in its range and scope
