Deco district, there are plans to <

buildings into small hotels.
"Tel Aviv is a living city," said
Assif. "We're not trying to build
a museum that freezes time; we
want to build upon the spirit of

and context that makes Tel
Aviv's International Style archi-
tecture unique, Assif made sure
that the low-rise buildings,
small squares and green malls
that distinguish Lev Tel Aviv's

southern resort town of Eilat on
the Red Sea. After two days,
participants will travel north,
stopping at fabulous sites along
with way. Mission-goers will
stay in 5-star hotels, and sight-
seeing throughout Israel will be

a "behind-the-scenes" look a the
facility for members of the Al-
lied Jewish Campaign's Quar-
ter Century Club June 29.
The one-day trip will leave
Detroit at 8 a.m. on a charter
flight, returning that evening.
A full day of activity will be
planned with sightseeing and
speakers.
