MARTIN SHERMAN, 77, of
Southfield, died April 4. He is
survived by a son, Dr. Ken
Sherman of San Diego; daugh-
ter and son-in-law, Leslee and
Dr. Mark Kohn of West Bloom-
field; sister, Rose Goldberg of
Southfield; two granddaugh-
ters.

BEM SINGER, 79, of South-
field, died April 4. She leaves
her husband, Sol; sons and
daughters-in-law, Larry and
Rena of Farmington Hills, Stan-
ford and Judy of Southfield; sis-
ter and brother-in-law, Marion
and Saul Dicken of Vernon,
Ohio; brother and sister-in-law,
Bill and Marsha Shore of
Reynoldsburg, Ohio; seven
grandchildren; one great-grand-
son.

HARRY J. SOLOMON, 93, of
Southfield, died April 8. He
leaves his wife, Lefty; sons and
daughters-in-law, Robert and
Judy of Bloomfield Hills,
Michael "Mickey" and Olga of
Camarillo, Calif.; six grand-
children; two great-grandchil-
dren.

EVA STARLER, 92, of Chica-
go, formerly of Detroit, died
March 17. She leaves her chil-
dren, Gerrie and Dr. Myron
Spalter of West Bloomfield,
Donald Starler of Arleta, Calif.,
Howard and Sheila Gollay of
Skokie, Di, Rhoda and Dr. Fred
Kagan of Kalamazoo; 16 grand-
children; 22 great-grandchil-
dren.

NATHAN STEINHART, 78,
of Oak Park, died April 9. He is
survived by his wife, Ethel; sis-
ters and brother-in-law, Eva
and Morris Sadoff of West
Bloomfield, Tillie Nakisher of
Southfield.

JACK WEISS, 77, of South-
field, died April 7. He is sur-
vived by his wife, Rose; son,
Larry of Bloomfield Hills;
daughters and son-in-law, Don-
na and Skip Held of Oak Park,
Cheryl and Andrea Weiss of
Southfield; brother and sister-
in-law, Dr. Allen and Marilyn
Weiss of Bloomfield Township;
five grandchildren.
