We've got a community problem.

The Southfield Public Schools are at a crossroads.

The State has taken over funding of public education. Southfield's enriched, comprehensive
program costs $9,400 per pupil and the State only guarantees up to $6,500 — but ONLY IF a
locally voted millage is approved. The April 18th ballot proposal for a "hold harmless" millage
will save all current programs and services ... and you will still see some reductions in your
property taxes!

Will the district remain whole or will its programs and services be reduced?
