Benefit Concert

Ars Poetica Chamber Orches-
tra, an ensemble of profession-
al musicians from the United
States and Canada under the
direction of Maestro Anatoli
Cheiniouk, will perform at De-
troit's Orchestra Hall 8 p.m.
April 11 in a concert to benefit
the Richard C. Van Dusen
Compact College Fund, a pro-
gram designed to assist Detroit
high school graduates.
Professional musicians from
their country's major sym-
phonies in Chicago, Cleveland,
Dallas, Detroit, Rochester, New
York and Windsor, all of whom
are world-class musicians in
their own right, comprise Ars
Poetica.
Tickets may be purchased at
the Orchestra Hall box office,

The Jewish Festival of 1994 will

morists, pantomimists and mu-
