series, 'The Humanness of Our
Biblical Ancestors: Rabbinic
and Psychoanalytic Dialogues,
7:30 p.m. April 17 at Temple
Participating in the dialogue,
a look at David from both a rab-
binic and psychoanalytic per-
spective, will be Rabbi Daniel
F. Polish, senior rabbi at the
temple, and Dr. Melvin Born-
stein. The president-elect of the
Michigan Psychoanalytic Insti-
tute, Dr. Bornstein is associate
clinical professor, Department
of Psychiatry, Wayne State Uni-
versity College of Medicine and
editor of Psychoanalytic Inquily
