"David... In Search of an Iden-
tity" will be the topic of the fi-
nal program in the three part
series, 'The Humanness of Our
Biblical Ancestors: Rabbinic
and Psychoanalytic Dialogues,
7:30 p.m. April 17 at Temple
Beth El.
Participating in the dialogue,
a look at David from both a rab-
binic and psychoanalytic per-
spective, will be Rabbi Daniel
F. Polish, senior rabbi at the
temple, and Dr. Melvin Born-
stein. The president-elect of the
Michigan Psychoanalytic Insti-
tute, Dr. Bornstein is associate
clinical professor, Department
of Psychiatry, Wayne State Uni-
versity College of Medicine and
editor of Psychoanalytic Inquily
The program is open to the
community without charge.

hold their annual Holocaust
Memorial Service 2 p.m. April
10 at the synagogue. The speak-
er will be Mrs. Erna Gorman, a
survivor of the Holocaust and
one of the Hidden Children. A
candle lighting ceremony will
follow.
There will be a musical com-
position, "Vanity of Vanities,"
edited and performed from the
original Hebrew by Rabbi Craig
Allen. Cantor David Gutman
will conduct the Yizkor service.
Refreshments will be served.
