Betsy Michelle Char and Jef-
frey Steven Blackman were re-
cently married at Beth
Abraham Hillel Moses. Rabbi
Irving Schnipper and Cantor
Ben Lanxner officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Sherman and Joan Char of
Farmington Hills. The groom
is the son of Sidney and Karen
Blackman of West Bloomfield.
Bonnie Char, the bride's sis-
ter, was the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Debbie
Blackman, Vanessa Aiuto, Lau-
rel Barnard, Lisa Doyle, Nicole
Gladner and Laura Weinberg.
Marc Blackman, the groom's
brother, was the best man.

Groomsmen were Brad Char,
Bryan Beckerman, Adam
Fishkind, Alex Greenbaum, Ja-
son Ingber and Jason Kofend-
er. Flower girls and ring bearers
were Brittany and Brandon
Cloud, cousins of the bride, and
Shanna and Shay Goldenberg,
cousins of the groom.
Also participating in the cer-
emony were the bride's grand-
mother, Beebe Char; Uncle
Tony Char; the groom's grand-
parents, Ethel and Hy Black-
man; Sol Gold and Aunt Elaine
Cohen.
Following a honeymoon in
Hawaii, Besty and Jeff are re-
siding in Commerce Township.
