HaShoah, Dr. Charles Silow of
Sinai Hospital will speak on the
importance of Holocaust Memo-
rial Day and how it relates to
the survivors on April 7 at JPM.

violinist and pianist, April 11 at
1 p.m. There is no charge.
"Fabs" Kaldobsky will dis-
cuss his life experiences while
growing up in Eretz Yisrael
April 12 at 1 p.m.

Writers Group
Will Expand

On April 13, the Writers Cor-
ner group from the Jimmy
Prentis Morris Jewish Corn-
munity Center will take a trip
to Maple/Drake to view the
newly opened Passover art ex-
hibit at the Janice Charach
Epstein Museum/Gallery.
The Maple/Drake building is
beginning a writers' corner
group under the direction of Dr.
Laurence Levine of Wayne
State University and the mem-
bers of the JPM and M/D
Writers Corner groups will
meet together for a first joint
session.
The poetry, essays, and short
stories produced for the last 38
years by the JPM writers
appears in the annual Writers
Journal, which has been pro-
duced for the last five years,
thanks to the generosity of
Alexander Hamilton Life In-
surance Company.

Speech Reading
Class Begins

Speech Reading for the Hear-
ing Impaired will start a new
eight-week class beginning
April 6 at 1 p.m. at the
Maple/Drake Jewish Commu-
nity Center.
