What's new for spring hinges on sheer layers, slip dresses, short skirts,
sporty racing stripes, and shiny streaks of silver. But that doesn't mean
you should toss anything in your closet that doesn't begin with the let
ter "S." Trends are best approached in small doses, to recharge 'what
you already own. That bare little slip dress you'll be seeing everywhu e
can be worn like a pinafore layered over allshirt or long-sieeved blouse.
Even that coquetie -ish mini won't be so shocking when treated as a tu
nic and worn over pants. An,d if head-to4oe at - tun- dawn makes you led
like a baked potato, just pick up a silver lurex T-shirt to slide under your
navy suit or throw on over white jea s.
Oh, and FYI, the "grun, '
fad has finally passed— but not without leaving a little attitude in its
wake. While eyebrows are s.routii j: back into style as part ot the sin.
