Choices, the 1994
outreach event
and fund-raising
luncheon of the
Allied Jewish
Campaign
Women's Divi-
sion, was an
overwhelming
success with
more than 600 guests. Chair-
man Beverly Liss thanked the
crowd for making the choice to
attend.
Actress Tovah
Feldshuh entertained the
guests through many
character vignettes and
reminisced about her expe-
riences at Interlochen. "At
Interlochen, my name was
Teri Sue," she said. Sharon
Schwartz, a Hillel Day
School teacher, was at
Interlochen with Ms.
Feldshuh. Both of these
Interlochen graduates
received rave reviews. Ms.
Feldshuh received a stan-
ding ovation for her perfor-
mance, while Ms. Schwartz
heard Mazal Toy numerous
times as the director of the
recent Hillel Day School
play, Bye Bye Birdie. Coin-
cidentally, Zachary Liss,
Beverly's son, had one of the
leading roles.
Some of the women who
chose to volunteer for
Choices included: Roz
Blanck, Nancy Glass,
Susie Jacob, Elda
Schwartz, Lisa Brody, Sue
Ellen Kaufman and
Hilary Borman.
