On April 10 at 3:30 p.m., the
Julius Chajes Concert Series
will welcome spring with a con-
cert in the Janice Charach Ep-
stein Museum/Gallery of the
Maple/Drake Jewish Commu-
nity Center.
The St. Clair Trio will per-
form the music of Haydn, Cha-
jes, Francaix and Turina. The
members are Detroit Sympho-
ny concertmaster, Emmanuelle
Boisvert, assistant principal cel-
list, Marcy Chanteaux and pi-
anist Pauline Martin.
Seats are not reserved. There

For Music Club
The Music Study Club of Met-
ropolitan Detroit will present
pianist Arthur Greene at its
meeting 2 p.m. April 10 at
Birmingham Temple. The
meeting will begin with a social
hour followed by Mr. Greene's
lecture and program at 3 p.m.
There is a charge for guests.
Mr. Greene, a professor in
the Piano Department of the
University of Michigan Music
School, will discuss a variety of
piano music and perform
"Etudes," "Nocturne," "Barca-
role," and "Ballade" by Chopin
and Haydn's Sonata in F Ma-
jor.
Mr. Greene has appeared as
guest artist with the Philadel-
phia Orchestra, the National
Symphony, the RAI Orchestra
at Torino and as part of the San
Francisco Symphony's Bee-
thoven Festival.
