Senior Events

The Maple/Drake Jewish Com-
munity Center will present a
docent tour in the Janice
Charach Epstein Gallery April
4 at 1 p.m. which is free to the
public.
Mondays, starting April 4 at
7 p.m., Maple/Drake will offer
Monday night bridge games.
There will continue to be bridge
on Thursday afternoons at
12:30 p.m. For information, call
Shirley Seigel, 661-7632.
The Adult Services Depart-
ment of Maple/Drake will com-
memorate Yom Ha'azma'ut
(Remembrance Day) by featur-
ing Dr. Emanuel Tanay April 6
at 12:30 p.m. Dr. Tanay will
speak about how memories of
the Holocaust affect all of us.
Brown bag a kosher lunch or
purchase a lunch at the cafe-
teria. Lunch is at noon. There
is no charge for members with
advance registration. Coffee and
tea will be provided. Call Lor-

Rabbi Nelson

Congregation Beth Shalom's
Enhanced Generation for senior
adults will have a continental
brunch and lecture 9:30 a.m.
April 6 at the synagogue.
Rabbi David A. Nelson will
speak on "Maalox Moments in
the Rabbinate." At 11 a.m.,
Phyllis Young will lead a
discussion.
Admission is free, and all
senior adults are welcome.
