returned from
Robert Red-
ford's 1994 Sun-
dance Film Fes-
tival in Utah
following the screenings of their
new biblical comedy feature
film, The Making of . . . And

God Spoke.

This mock-documentry ex-
plores the chaos that could
occur on a large Hollywood
epic film. "It is a look at the
behind-the-scenes elements
of physically making a
movie, and secondly it deals
with teaching the great
stories of the Old Testament
in a fresh and funny way,"
said Arthur Borman. The
comedy was directed by Ar-
thur Borman and produced
by Mark Borman and

LEUKEMIA SOCIETY

The Leukemia Society of
America, Michigan Chapter,
recently held an event at
Neiman Marcus to kick-off
publicity for the fifth annual
Discovery Ball to be held
April 23 at the Ross Roy
Headquarters in Bloomfield
Hills. The evening will be a
tribute to the late Glenn
Fortinberry, who was the
CEO of Ross Roy Com-
munications Inc. Leukemia
Society President John
Kamins and his wife
Judith attended the event.

Arthur Borman is a 1985
graduate of Cranbrook
Schools. He attended film
school at UCLA and has
worked on several feature
films. Mark Borman
graduated from Seaholm
High School in 1986 and
studied business at the Uni-
versity of Southern Califor-
nia. While living in Chicago,
he worked on the Chicago
Board of Trade and was in-
volved with the Second City
Comedy Troupe.
The film is currently
scheduled for a showing at
Cannes, France, and will be
released in Michigan this
summer or fall. The Bor-
mans will hold a private
Detroit screening next mon-
th.
