LEMON JUICE: ReaLemon lemon juice from concentrate.
LIPSTICK (unflavored): The following contain no chometz - Almay; Revlon - Moon Drops Luminesque Lipfrost, Moon Drops
Moisture Creme, Super Frost and Super Lustrous. ADWE lipstick is under KM supervision, and in addition to being free of
chometz, contains no animal derived ingredients.
MINERAL OIL
MOUTHWASH: Listerine, Scope & Cepacol contain no chometz. ADWE and H & H brands of mouthwash are under
supervision, and in addition to being free of chometz, contain no animal derived ingredients. (SIGNAL mouthwash may now
contain chometz).
NUTS: Commercially packaged raw uncolored nuts (unroasted) with no additives & not listing "BHA in corn oil"; bleached or
unbleached, shelled or unshelled.
OLIVE OIL: Pompeian brand "Extra Virgin", with Star-K symbol.
ORANGE JUICE: LIQUID - Tropicana "Pure Premium". FROZEN - Tropicana, and any other brand of 100% pure frozen
concentrated unsweetened orange juice with no added ingredients.
OVEN CLEANER: Dow, Easy-Off, Mr. Muscle.
PARCHMENT PAPER: Paper Maid Kitchen Parchment.
PERFUME, COLOGNE: Almay; the following Revlon brands - Cerissa, Charlie, Chaz, Ciara, Intimate, Jontue, Moon Drops,
Scoundrel, Ultima II.
PINEAPPLE: Dole canned pineapple (chunks, crushed, slices & tidbits) in unsweetened pineapple juice may be used only if
citric acid is not listed as an ingredient. Cans from THAILAND list citric acid & should Egg be used for Pesach. - Also
acceptable: Libby's canned pineapple (chunks, crushed, slices & tidbits) in unsweetened pineapple juice.
PLASTIC WRAP & BAGS
RUBBER GLOVES: Playtex and Rubbermaid brands do not contain any starch.
SALT: Any non-iodized O brand not listing dextrose, maltodextrin or polysorbate in the ingredients, such as Morton
non-iodized, Sterling non-iodized and Diamond Crystal non-iodized salts.
SALT SUBSTITUTE: Regular NoSalt (not seasoned); Freeda Free-Salt - ©p.
SHAMPOO & CONDITIONERS: Alberto V05, Almay, Baby Magic Baby Shampoo, Clairol Condition Shampoo, Clairol
Condition II, Clairol Condition Styling Mousse, Head & Shoulders, Johnson's Baby Shampoo, Prell. (BRECK shampoo
contains chometz.)
SILVER POLISH: Hagerty, Starco.
SOAPS, DISHWASHING DETERGENTS, CLEANSERS: POWDERS: Any powder with an O. DISHWASHING LIQUIDS:
Dawn, Ivory & Joy. (Dove & Sun Light are not recommended.) AUTOMATIC DISHWASHING LIQUID: Cascade, Palmolive.
LIQUID CLEANSERS: Comet Liquid, Fantastik, Glass Plus, Lysol Deodorizing Cleaner, Mr. Clean. BAR SOAP: Camay,
Coast, Ivory, Lava, Safeguard & Zest contain no chometz. LIQUID SOAP: Ivory. SOAP PADS: Pan Handl'rs, Scotch-Brite
Rescue, S.O.Ezy.
SODAS require reliable certification for Pesach. In the Detroit area, Pepsi-Cola and Faygo Sparkling Water with KP on the
cap were bottled under supervision of the Vaad Horabonim. Coca-Cola is also available with Op on the side of the cap.
SUGAR: Domino white granulated sugar, Domino brown sugar, Domino Brownulated sugar; NOT Confectioners Powdered
Sugar. (NOTE: Big Chief and Meijer brands of Confectioners Powdered Sugar contain wheat starch and should be sold
with the chometz.)
SUGAR SUBSTITUTE: LIQUIDS: Pillsbury Sweet-10, Sweet 'N Low liquid sweetener; Festive & Kojel brands of liquid
sweetener - Op. POWDERS: Sweet 'N Low from Israel - only with ©p; Kojel Sweet 'N Good with Aspartame - Op;
Lieber's Powdered Sweetener with Aspartame - "Kosher for Passover". (Note: "EQUAL" and "NUTRASWEET
SPOONFUL" sweeteners are not Kosher for Pesach.)
TEA: INSTANT - Nestea 100% Tea (unflavored, unsweetened; not decaffeinated). TEABAGS (only plain, unflavored): A&P
"Our Own" - regular (not decaffeinated); Lipton - regular (not decaffeinated); Salada - regular (not decaffeinated);
Swee-Touch-Nee - regular & "97-1/2% Caffeine Free" (but NOT "decaffeinated").
TOOTHPASTE: The following contain no chometz - Aqua-Fresh, Colgate, Crest, Gleem, Ultra Brite. ADWE, FLOURIMINT,
KOSHER-DENT & ZOHAR brands are under supervision, and in addition to being free of chometz, contain no animal
derived ingredients.
TOOTHPOWDER & POLISH: Pearl Drops, Py-Co-Pay.
WAX PAPER: Does not require special Pesach certification. For baking, the following brand may be used: Cut-Rite.
