Law School Seeks Volunteers
The second annual "Hands on
Detroit Volunteer Day" spon-
sored by the student group at De-
troit College of Law will be held
throughout the day March 26.
Volunteers will be working
for Gleaners Food Bank, Blight
Busters, Orchards' Children's
Hospital, Focus HOPE, The
Sanctuary and other service or-
ganizations; they will paint,
clean, pack food, serve food and
assist in many areas.
Dozens of students from DCL
have signed up to help. Many
will be bringing their friends,
families and mentors with them.
Among the alumni pitching in
will be Detroit Mayor Dennis
Archer, a 1970 graduate of DCL.
A raffle will be held in con-
junction with Hands on Detroit
Volunteer Day, featuring Bar
Review courses, a Louis XVI
chair from Hepplewhite's Fine
Furniture and Red Wings sou-
venirs. Raffle tickets are being
sold in the DCL lobby at 130 E.
