The Heidi Chronicles, by Wendy
Wasserstein, winner of seven
major awards, including the
Pulitzer Prize and the Tony
Award, will open at the Hil-
berry Theatre March 11 and
run in rotating repertory
through April 28.
The play is an examination
of the progress of a generation,
from the socially and political-
ly activist '60s to the success-
oriented '80s — a time during
which the status of American
women underwent profound,
and sometimes unsettling,
change.
