The Holocaust Memorial Center and the American Jewish Committee will host
Prof. Raul Hilberg at a community forum. 8 p.m. March 14 at the Maple-Drake
Jewish Community Center. He will speak on Holocaust denial.
Prof. Hilberg is the John G. McCullough professor of political science at the Uni-
versity of Vermont, an expert witness and research specialist in World War II doc-
umentation, and author of many articles and a book detailing the destruction
of European Jews.
Dr. Hilberg plans to discuss what Holocaust denial is, who is behind it and
how the pseudo-scholarship is being used in the United States and around the
world.
The public is invited to tour the Holocaust Memorial Center before his talk. Community ed-
ucators have been invited to a 4 p.m. seminar focusing on Holocaust education. There is no
charge for either program.
