Hundreds of volunteers will be
reaching out to thousands of
Detroit women on behalf of the
1994 Allied Jewish Campaign
at the Jewish Federation
Women's Division Spring
Phonogift March 13.
The phonathon will be begin
at 9:30 a.m., nad volunteers will
address the need of many
recently unemployed people,
seniors and others at risk who
look to Federation's helping
agencies for assistance. The
effort also will reach out to
women previously not involved
with the Campaign.

B'nai Moshe
Events Set

The sisterhood of Congregation
B'nai Moshe will have a conti-
nental breakfast and book re-
view 11 a.m. March 6 at the
synagogue. Lillian Greenhut
will present several capsule
book reviews. Call Ms. Green-

vation.
The sisterhood of Congrega-
tion B'nai Moshe will hold a
cooking demonstration of Pass-
over dairy delights March 9 at
7 p.m. in the synagogue. The
program will be presented by
Mimi Markofsky of Sperber's

Jewish Women."

Sharon Group
Hears Talk

The Sharon Group of Greater
Detroit Chapter of Hadassah
will meet March 8 at noon in
the Knob in the Woods club-
house. A mini lunch will be
served. Guests are welcome.
Retired Wayne State Uni-
versity professor Norma Gold-
man, who specialized in Latin
and Greek, will speak on "Jews
of Rome" and will illustrate her
lecture with slides.

Holds Meeting
