Park, died Feb. 10. She is sur-
vived by nephews and niece.

SONYA D. RESNICK, 86, of
Southfield, died Feb. 9. She
leaves her husband, Samuel;
daughter and son-in-law, Sher-
ry and Aaron Goren of Farm-
ington Hills; brother, Louis
Koganow of Canada; sister,
Rose Greenberg of Canada; two
grandchildren.

DR. HARRY W. STOLER, 70,
former Detroiter of Boynton
Beach, Fla., died Jan. 21. He is
survived by his wife, Gertrude;
children, Eileen Kominsky of
Plantation, Fla., Raymond Stol-
er of Boynton Beach, Steven
Stoler of Dallas; brother and sis-
ter-in-law, Dr. William and
Maxine of Pompano Beach, Fla.

GUSSIE WEDGLE, of Oak
Park, died Feb. 13. She leaves
her daughters, Libby Mall of
Oak Park, Renee Lynn of Lin-
colnwood, Ill.; son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Dr. Martin and
Lorraine of West Bloomfield,
eight grandchildren, two great-
grandchildren.

Alfred Klunover

Alfred A. Klunover, 93, of
Southfield, died Feb. 10. He was
an attorney for over 65 years
until he retired in 1989. He was
a life member of Congregation
Shaarey Zedek, past president
of Hannah Schloss Oldtimers.
He graduated from University
of Detroit Law School in 1923,
was past chairman Family Law
Committee of Michigan Bar As-
sociation, past chairman of Pa-
ternity Law Committee,
chairman of Selective Service
from 1948-1964 and sponsor of
Boy Scout Troop #23 from 1929
to 1979. He was awarded Silver
Beaver Award and was very ac-
tive with the state Republican
Party. He was awarded a medal
for Selective Service work.
He leaves his wife, Ruth;
daughter and son-in-law, Made-
lon and Dr. Richard Weber of
Ann Arbor; two grandchildren.

Betty Lehrman

Betty Lehrman, 90, of Detroit,
died Feb. 13. She was the
founder and organizer of
Shaarey Zedek's Beth Hayeled
kindergarten and nursery
school, and she taught Hebrew
at Shaarey Zedek for over 35
years. Prior to that she taught
Hebrew for the United Hebrew
Schools for 10 years, and before
that taught at Detroit and New
York public schools.
She is survived by a son and
daughter-in-law, Marvin and
Millie of Redwood Valley, Calif.;
daughters and sons-in-law,
Sylvia and Hans Weinmann of
West Bloomfield, Charlotte and
Norman Atkins of Los Angeles;
four grandchildren; three great-
grandchildren.

Nathan Levine

Nathan Levine, 64, of Franklin,
died Feb. 11. He was an archi-
tect with Nathan Levine Ar-
chitect, Inc. in Galleria in
Southfield. He piloted the doc-
toral program at University of
Michigan Architectural School
in 1977 and was one of the first
U.S. citizens to receive this de-
gree. He was registered in sev-
eral European cities and was
the architect for Harbortown
and Riverfront, designed North
Park Towers, Townsend Hotel,
Somerset Apartments and
North Park Square.
He leaves his wife, Marilyn;
daughters and sons-in-law,
Wendy and Henry Abrams of
West Bloomfield, Lisa and
Robert Gittleman of West
Bloomfield, Jayne and Robert
Yarmuth of Boca Raton, Fla.;
brother and sister-in-law, R.
Robert and Ethel Lynn of
Farmington Hills; sisters and
brothers-in-law, Ida and Milton
Moskovitz of Oak Park, Sarah
and Marvin Sanfield of Mt.
Clemens; brother-in-law, Louis
Rosen; sister-in-law, Betty
Rosen; seven grandchildren.

Beth Lowenstein

Beth "Babe Elaine Lowenstein,
68, of Birmingham, died Feb.
12. She was chairman of the
board of Acme Mills Company
and the Acme Group in Detroit.
She served on many communi-
ty boards, including Sinai Hos-
pital of Detroit and the Jewish
Welfare Federation advisory
board. She and her late hus-
band provided the funding for
the construction of the Srere Ra-
diation and Oncology building
at Sinai as well as the library
at the Jewish Vocational Ser-
vice in Southfield.
She leaves her daughters and
sons-in-law, Betsy and James
Feld of Winnetka, Ill., Connie
and James Colman of Bloom-
field Hills; four grandchildren.
