The course "Platforms, Prayer Books and Progressive Religion: Perspectives on Re- form Judaism" will be an at- tempt to guide participants on a journey through the history, current life and future of Re- form Judaism. Sessions will be held on Monday evenings, 7-8 p.m. beginning Feb. 21 through March 21. Rabbis Lane Steinger of Emanu-El and Julian Cook of Beth El will teach the initial class on history. On Feb. 28, Rabbi Daniel Polish of Beth El and Rabbi Steinger will teach the session on platform. The March 7 class on prayer books will be taught by educator An- nie Friedman of Beth El and ed- ucator Ira Wise of Emanu-El. These three classes will all meet at Temple Emanu-El. The March 14 and 21 class- es will meet at Temple Beth El. The first class, on music, will be taught by Cantor Gail Hirsch- enfang of Beth El and Cantor Norman Rose of Emanu-El.
