For Seniors

The Sinai Hospital Health Se-
ries will continue Feb. 14 at 1
p.m. at the Jimmy Prentis Mor-
ris Jewish Community Center.
Tax form assistance will be
offered Feb. 15 from 9 a.m.-2
p.m. at Jimmy Prentis Morris.
Counselors from American As-
sociation of Retired Persons
(AARP) will be available to
assist lower income seniors
($30,000 or less), who bring
1993 tax information. Reserve
time slot for assistance at the
reception desk. There is no
charge for this service.
On Feb. 17 at 10:30 p.m.
learn a simple type of move-
ment to relax the body, improve
posture, flexibility and coordi-
nation developed by Israeli,
Moshe Feldenkrais. Jill Davis,
certified instructor, will discuss
and demonstrate this method.
Wear comfortable clothes.
There is no charge for members.
A hamantaschen bake-off
will take place Feb. 21 at 10:15
a.m. at JPM. Results will be
served at the JPM Purim dance
the following day. There is no

Oakland Self-Help for Hearing
Impaired Adults will sponsor a
speaker at Maple-Drake Jew-
ish Community Center Feb. 16
at 1 p.m. A law enforcement of-
ficer will discuss police proce-
dures in emergency situations
for those with hearing impair-
ments.
Rabbi Amy Bigman of Tem-
ple Emanu-El will discuss Jew-
ish medical ethics Feb. 16 at 1
p.m. No charge for JCC mem-
bers.
Starting Feb. 18 for six weeks
through March 25, the Maple-
Drake will hold line dancing
classes at 10:30 a.m. Jack Leve
will conduct the class. There is

Traditional klezmer music
will have a revival at Maple-
Drake Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. with the
video "A Jumpin' Night In The

"Great Decisions," the na-
tion's oldest program of citizen
education in world affairs, will
come to Maple-Drake March 2
for eight weeks at 7 p.m. The
program will feature experts in
the areas of South Africa,
Yugoslavia, ex-Soviet bloc's en-
vironmental crisis, Islam. Mod-
erating will be Rudy Simon, vice
president of the Cranbrook
Peace Foundation and past
board member of the Center for
Conflict Resolution at Wayne
State University. The cost in-
cludes a book. Reservations are

Parenting Style
Study Group

Next STEP, an eight-session
study group to look at parent-
