Arrange the chicken chunks on
top of the noodle mixture and
then pour the remaining soup
mixture over chicken. Top with
crumbs, melted margarine and
slivered almonds. Cooking re-
quires approx. 6 to 8 minutes
covered with plastic wrap. Cook
3 to 4 min. and rotate pan. Cook
3 to 4 more minutes and test to
see if it's hot throughout. Serves
8 to 10.

A new 4-week Hebrew Crash Course has been designed to take the terror out of having to
read Hebrew. Originally developed in England and now offered by Aish HaTorah, this
course provides a comfortable atmosphere and is guaranteed to give you 93% efficiency in
reading those texts which have caused you so much trouble in the past!
COURSE BEGINS: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 28 (7-9 P.M.)
$40 (INCLUDES COURSE MATERIALS)

1 can condensed beef
broth
1 c. water
1 /8 t. pepper
1 bay leaf
2 medium onions, quar-
tered
6 carrots, cut into rounds
2 potatoes peeled and
diced
1'/2 c. diced celery
2 T. water
1 T. flour
1 lb. Kosher smoked
sausage cut onto 1/2-inch
pieces
salt to taste
Combine broth, 1 cup water,
pepper, bay leaf, and vegetables
(except potatoes) into a 3 quart
glass baking dish. Cook covered,
14 min. stirring 2 or 3 times.
Add potatoes; cook covered for
12 minutes, stirring 1 or 2
times. Remove the bay leaf. Mix
2 T. water with the flour and
stir it into the vegetable mix-
ture. Add the sausage and cook
uncovered for approx 6 minutes.
Stir once, let stand 5 minutes
before serving. Serves 6 to 8.

APPLE CHERRY
TEMPTATION

6 baking apples
2 T. sugar
1 t. cinnamon
'/8 t. nutmeg
1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie
filling
chocolate syrup
chopped nuts
Wash and core apples. Leave
an opening large enough to fill
with pie filling. Place apples in
a glass casserole. Combine sug-
ar with spices. Place one tea-
spoon of the sugar mixture in
the center of each apple. Fill
with cherry pie filling. Cook on
high for 8 to 10 minutes or un-
til tender. Let stand for 5 min-
utes and then pour warmed
chocolate sauce over each ap-
ple. Top with nuts.
