BBYO Plans
Trip, Events

Michigan Region BBYO will be
represented by nine members
at the March of the living pro-
gram, a Holocaust educational
trip to Poland and Israel, April
5-19. Each participant was spe-
cially screened and chosen to
represent BBYO at this special
program. In addition, all repre-
sentatives will attend prepara-
tory, background sessions
provided by the Agency for Jew-
ish Education and, upon return,
the representatives will be
available to present a lecture
and slide show about their ex-
periences to community groups.
The BBYO representatives
are Eric Adelman, Oak Park,
Marx AZA; Jaime Cantor, West
Bloomfield, Savage BBG; Matt
Citrin, Farmington Hills, Rose
AZA; Brian Kristall, Farming-
ton Hills, Kishon AZA;
Shoshana Kraus, West Bloom-
field, Ahavah BBG; Rebecca
Strachan, Farmington Hills,
Shalom Aviv BBG; Kimberly
Weiss, West Bloomfield,
Ahavah BBG; Erica Yelensky,
Huntington Woods, Brice BBG;
Clara Stutz, Franklin, Shoshan-
na BBG.
Herzl AZA and Yachad BBG
will sponsor the annual Beau-
heart Dance 8-11:30 p.m. Feb.
5 at the Windsor Jewish Com-
munity Center. Each AZA chap-
ter will announce their Beau
and each BBG chapter will pre-
sent their Sweetheart for the
'93-'94 year. There is a charge.
The AZA Basketball League
will meet 3-6 p.m Feb. 6, at the
Maple-Drake Jewish Commu-
nity Center. Teens interested
in joining the league should call

Story Hour

The Birmingham Temple will
hold a Shabbat story hour 11
a.m.-noon March 5. This will be
