their bi-weekly support group

JVS Offers
Homemakers Aid

Jewish Vocational Service will
continue the Displaced Home-
maker Program, which offers
job-seeking skills and place-
ment assistance to women who
need to re-enter the work force.
The program is open to any-
one who has lost financial sup-
port because of divorce,
separation, widowhood or the
disability of a spouse. Displaced
Homemaker counselors can
help women make decisions
about finding a job or returning
to school.
Services are available on a
non-sectarian basis, and the
program is funded by the Michi-
gan Department of Labor.
