1993 Metro Detroit Retailer of
the Year by the Home Furni-
ture Representatives of Michi-

The award was created in
1990 and is given on an annual
basis to furniture retailers who
distinguish themselves with cre-
ative work. Each year, the
award ceremony takes place at
a formal fund-raising dinner.
This year, Englander's helped
to raised $7,000 for Detroit Chil-
dren's Hospital.
Englander's, 60 years old, has
stores in Birmingham, Ann Ar-
bor, Royal Oak, and four stores,
Worrells, located in South Flori-
da.
