Julie Lynn Manning and Olivi-
er Claude Albert Lurz were
married recently at Franklin
Hills Country Club. Rabbi
Harold Loss of Temple Israel
officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Mervyn H. Man-
ning of Bloomfeld Hills. The
groom is the son of Mr. Max
Lurz of Weisbaden, Germany,
and Mrs. Robert Barondeau of
Frankfurt, Germany.
Dr. Carol Manning, sister of
the bride, was the matron of

honor. Bridesmaids were her
sister, Kathy Manning of
Greensboro, N.C., Katie Bor-
man, Caren Kosarek, Gael Per-
lin and Mary O'Brien. Junior
attendants were Eden Manning
Turkheimer, Robert Manning
Kaplan, Elizabeth Manning
Kaplan and Francois Xavier
Vallet.
Following a honeymoon in
Portofino and Florence, Italy,
the couple will reside in Wash-
ington, D.C.

Lempert-Grossman

Marci Sheryl Grossman and
Mark Robert Lempert were re-
cently married at Adat Shalom
Synagogue. Rabbi Efry Spectre
and Cantor Howard Glantz of-
ficiated.
Marci is the daughter of Mic-
ki Grossman and the late Louis
D. Grossman. Mark is the son
of Temmi and Hal Lempert.
Gael Grossman was her sis-
ter's maid of honor. Brides-
maids were the groom's sister,

Carol Lempert, and the bride's
cousin, Lori Nelson. The best
man was Jon Gold. Groomsmen
were Sheldon Lempert, the
groom's brother, and Ross
Grossman, the bride's brother.
Also participating was the
bride's uncle, Maurice Gross-
man of Tucson, Ariz.
Following a honeymoon in
Disney World, the couple now
reside in Novi.
