Beit Kodesh
Women Meet

The sisterhood of Congregation
Beit Kodesh will meet 8 p.m.
Jan. 25 at the synagogue li-
brary.
Following the meeting, a
movie review of Schindler's List
will be presented by Diane
Allen, director of the Sunday
school. Refreshments will be
served.

Adat Shalom
Special Shabbat

The sisterhood of Adat Shalom
will observe its annual Sister-
hood Shabbat Jan. 29; members
of the sisterhood will particiapte
in Shabbat morning services.
Following kiddush there will be
a luncheon honoring Nita
Lichtenstein for her longtime
service.
Nita Lichtenstein coordinat-
ed the synagogue's Shabbat and
holiday kiddush preparations
for close to three decades. She
has served on the sisterhood
board of directors and has been
an active sisterhood member.
Torah readers that morning
will be Nancy Handelman.
Sharon Ann Bass, Robin Tere-
belo, Brad Terebelo, Julie
Zaback and Brenda Weingar-
den. Celia Lubetsky and Jane
Anthill and will chant from the
Haftorah.
There is a charge for the lun-
cheon. Reservations deadline is
Jan. 25. Call the synagogue of-
fice, 851-5100, for information.

exhibitors will provide samples
of hors d'oeuvres and desserts,
display floral and photograph-
ic skills and music. On hand
will be caterers, limousine ser-
vices, souvenir vendors, party
planners and more.
A free guide containing the
names and addresses of the ser-
vice providers will be given each
showcase visitor for easy at-
home access to vendors. The
day-long event is open to the
public at no charge. ❑
