— The unfortunate attack on
international champion Nan-
cy Kerrigan at the U.S. Figure
Skating Championships in De-
troit captured headlines all over
the country.
LESLEY KUTINSKY, of
the Lesley Company Inc., didn't
get too much press. The com-
pany, started as a home-based
screen printing business that
specialized in bar and bat mitz-
vah T-shirts, got a big break be-
cause of the competition. TLC
was the official screen printer
and embroiderer for the cham-
pionships. •
— LINDA GUZ of West
Bloomfield hopes to use her
knack for decorating to make it
on her own.
Her new business, the Wall-
paper Advisor, is definitely
unique. For the past six months,
Ms. Guz has been helping
clients select wallpaper for their
homes. She visits the home,
shops for customers at the store
and ultimately selects wallpa-
per for her busy clients.
"I am providing a service for
people," she says. "So many peo-
ple tell me they can't choose
wallpaper, and they don't want
to hire an expensive decorator
for the entire house."
A former legal secretary, Ms.
Guz learned all about wallpa-
per from her father, who owned
Reliable Wallpaper and Paint
for 30 years.

president of the affiliate, the
Covideo Co., has been with
Franco since 1984.
— Under the new structure,
Mr. Friedman will remain pres-
ident of Covideo, and he will be
involved in management of the
entire firm. Anthony Franco will
serve as chairman of the firm
through 1994.
