Hosts Brunch

Congregation Beth Shalom's
sisterhood and men's club will
host historian Irwin Cohen at a
brunch 10 a.m. Jan. 30 at the
synagogue.
Known as "Mr. Information,"
Mr. Cohen will present a slide
presentation on the history of
Detroit, focusing on its lumi-
naries and landmarks. Mr. Co-
hen has been a columnist for
baseball publications, editor and
photographer for a national
baseball monthly and worked
for the Detroit Tigers.
