The Jewish Community Center
Singles will host a lecture on
"What's It Like to be Single in
America Today" by Dr. Marvin
S. Weckstein. Dr. Weckstein
will discuss what men and
women are looking for in rela-
tionships.
The lecture will be held 7:30
p.m. Jan. 26 at the Maple-

country-western line dancing

Odyssey Hosts
Holocaust Panel

Odyssey, the American Jewish
Committee's programming
group for the 30+ Jewish Sin-
gles, will host an evening of dis-
cussion, 7:30 pm. Jan. 27 at the
Max M. Fisher Building,
Bloomfield Hills.
"Growing Up As the Child of
a Holocaust Survivor" is the top-
ic of the program and guest pan-
elists are from C.H.A.I.M,
Children of Holocaust Survivors
Association in Michigan. Dr.
Charles Silow and Susan Rabi-
novitz will present for discus-
sion the general issues
surrounding the concerns of
C.H.A.I.M. members and will
also discuss current Holocaust
denial activity and impressions
of the film Schindler's List.
This program is open to the
general Jewish singles corn-
munity. A social with refresh-
ments will follow the program
and there is a charge.
