Camp Walden

CHEBOYGAN, MICHIGAN

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI 48331

To a child, summer
brings a sense of adven-
ture, an aura of excite-
ment, and a spirit of hav-
ing fun amid good times
and warm friendships.
Summer offers longer
days, gentle breezes, and
a pleasant recess from
day-to-day living. Child-
ren can slow down from
the hectic pace of
school; they can pause
and experience life at its
fullest. They can apply
their new-found class-
room knowledge in a
practical environment,
testing theories and
growing with others in an
exciting atmosphere.
Most of all, they can
have fun!
Camp Walden offers
this perfect combination
of summer and adven-
ture to all children.

in its 12th year, is an
accredited summer pro-

Our programs visit the
Western United States
and Canada, New
England, and Europe. We
offer:
• Active Teen Tours,
• Cycling trips for
beginner and intermedi-
ate levels, and
• Outdoor Adventure
with greater physical
challenge.
Trips range from 19 to
44 days.
The Westcoast Con-
nection philosophy is to
combine the excitement
and activities of a tour
that allows students to
really experience the
country (rafting, riding,
skiing, cycling...) with the
camaraderie of summer
camp. The addition of
special programs and
participation fosters per-
sonal growth, group spirit,
and cherished friendships
guaranteed to last long
after summer's end.
In addition, we have a
separate program called
