The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit invites
experienced candidates for this position, managing a
department of professional and support staff that deals
with activities of the Women's Division and Business and
Professional Women.
The Women's Division director is responsible for plan-
ning and coordination of fund-raising and educational
programs that involve more than 800 volunteers on 39
committees and raise more than $4.5 million for the Al-
lied Jewish Campaign.

This individual must have demonstrated qualities of lead-
ership, motivational and supervisory skills, as well as
an appreciation of the importance of outreach and lead-
ership development.
He or she should be well organized, have a knowledge
ofJewish life and institutions, and relate well to volun-
teers and professional colleagues alike. Program and/or
group work skills are a plus.
As the director is responsible for preparing reports, eval-
uations and analysis, the candidate must possess effec-
tive written and verbal skills.
The position requires an individual with a minimum of
five to seven years' experience with a Jewish Federa-
tion, Jewish agency, or related field of service. Salary
