Tzofim, the youth group of Con-
gregation B'nai Moshe for chil-
dren in grades K-5, will meet at
"Fun With Plaster," 6718 Or-
chard Lake Road, West Bloom-
field, noon Jan. 9. Call the syn-

The children in grades 3-8 of
Congregation B'nai Moshe will
take part in a Youth Retreat at
Camp Maas Jan. 14-15. The
theme for the weekend is Jew-
ish Heroes.
Included in the cost are in-
door and outdoor camp activi-
ties, four meals, heated cabin
lodging, bus ride to and from
camp, professional staff (one per
five students) and entertain-
ment.

BBYO Offers
Summer Study

B'nai B'rith Youth Organiza-
tion, as part of its Israel Sum-
mer Institute (ISI), is offering
many 26-day and 36-day pro-
grams in Israel and overseas for
the summer of '94.
Three outdoor adventure pro-
grams are available. Two pro-
grams called "Outdoor Ad-
venture" include an overnight
camelback trip, special hikes,
mountain climbing and biking,
kyaking and an agricultural
community service project. A
third program, "Outdoor Ex-
plorer," provides an opportuni-
ty to camp, bike and hike in Is-
rael.
A new study tour called
"Washington to Jerusalem" ex-
plores the political climate of
American/Arab/Israeli relations
by meeting with government of-
ficials in Washington and
Jerusalem.
BBYO will be offering the In-
ternational Leadership Study
Institute (ILSI) program that
combines leadership education
while allowing time for touring
Israel. In addition, a 36-day
summer program called "ar-
chaeology" will include explo-
ration and participation in some
of the archaeological sites in Is-
rael. An Eastern Europe trip is
also available which will include
seven days in Poland, three
days in Prague and Holocaust
educational seminars in Israel.
