Michigan Jewish History has

ish Historical Society of Michi-
gan.

fessor Norma Goldman on
Detroit's Albert Kahn, the im-
migrant son of a rabbi who be-

Yetta Nerenberg of Southfield, along with her daughter, Thelma Harris, has estab-
lished the Hyman and Yetta Nerenberg Woodland of 2,000 trees, in memory of
her husband of 65 years, Hyman, who recently passed away. Mr. Nerenberg was
born in Russia and came to America, via Canada. In 1939, Mr. Nurenberg estab-
lished the Jewel Bakery on Dexter. He was a member of Beth Abraham Hillei
Moses and the Jewish Community Center.
