More than 840 patrons attended this event to benefit the Haven, which serves victims of domestic and sexual abuse. SuSu and Robert' Sosnick are foun- ding chairmen of this event. Mrs. Sosnick acknowl- edged the hard work and effort of Linda and Robert Taubman, the promenade chairmen, in her opening statements to the crowd. "As the holidays draw near we are reminded that home and family should be a place of warmth and securi- ty," said the Taubmans in their support letter of the Haven in the evening's pro- gram. Kathy Fink, a Haven vol- unteer, noted that each year this event draws a larger crowd. "We began six years ago with 66 people." Retailer Linda Dresner presented the fashion show. This is the fifth consecutive year Ms. Dresner has underwritten and produced a fashion show for Haven. Mel Ball and Colours pro- vided the music. Some of the members of the executive committee in- clude: Nancy Hodari, Jan Silverman, Merrily Tann and Barbara Weiner. Hilary Borman, Elizabeth Fields, Ilyse Goldman, Katie Borman, Lauren Jacobs, Lisa Dechter and Teisha Tann are part of the junior executive committee. KNITTERS TROWBRIDGE For the second consecutive year a group of residents from the Trowbridge have donated money, food, and knitted clothing to the Southfield Goodfellows.
