ing a field trip to a mikvah.
When Rabbi Schwartz was
asked to participate in the
"wedding," he thought it was
a great idea because most peo-
ple don't have the exposure or
an understanding of what goes
on at a Jewish wedding until
they get married.
The parents of the bride and
groom, who were on hand for

the "marriage," thought it was
a great way for the children to
learn.
"'These kids had a great time
and learned a lot, too. They
were really good sports to go up
there and do this," said Sharon
Meyer, the mother of the
"bride."
"I wish I had the opportuni-
ty to practice before I got mar-
ried," said Howard Ellman,
father of the "groom."
The wedding party consist-
ed of classmates Jennie
Nathan, who was the maid of
honor, and Michael Hoffman,
who was the best man.
Also participating in the wed-
ding were ushers: Matt Steyer,
Johnathon Cohen, Daniel
Michaels and Max Warteli.
Bridesmaids were: Jamie
Binder, Halley Rosenbaum,
Alex Simon and Randy Halton.
Alexis Johnson was the flower
girl and Lindsay Pudanek was
the ring bearer. ❑
