dual meets this fall (the Lakers
went 5-2) and Rothenberg was
the first to cross the finish line
in all seven. She won her divi-
sions in the Holly and West
Bloomfield invitationals and she
was second in the Metro Sub-
urban Activities Association vs.
Southeastern Michigan Associ-
ation meet and the state re-
gional meet.
The Lakers tied for second
in the overall MSAA standings
and their third-place finish in
the tough state regional at
Marshbank Park in West
Bloomfield landed them a spot
in the state team champi-
onships.
With a 4.2 grade point in her
first semester at West Bloom-
field High, Rothenberg says
she'd like to study at Princeton.
But first she has some running
to attend to. ❑
