67, of Oak Park, died Dec. 2.
She is survived by her husband,
Iosif; daughter and son-in-law,
Enna and Eugene Petrova in
the Ukraine; brother and sister-
in-law, Vladimer and Erma Ka-
pitulskaya of Southfield; four
grandchildren; two great-grand-
children.

Belle Steinberg
Belle Steinberg, of Southfield,
died Dec. 1. She was 105.
Mrs. Steinberg was the
owner of Town and Country
Shop, a woman's clothing
store on Livernois in Detroit,
which she operated for many
years with her late husband,
Julius. She also was the old-
est living member of Congre-
gation Shaarey Zedek, where
she was a member since
1912. Mrs. Steinberg was a
life member of Hadassah and
a member of ORT and the
National Council of Jewish
Women.
She is survived by her sons
and daughters-in-law, Gerald
and Phyllis, Irving and
Shirley, all of West Bloom-
field; daughter and son-in-
law, Muriel and William
Wetsman of Farmington
Hills; 11 grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren.
H. Saul Sugar
Dr. H. Saul Sugar, of Southfield,
died Nov. 29. He was 81.
Dr. Sugar started the oph-
thalmology department at Sinai
Hospital.
He leaves his wife, Wilma;
daughter, Suzanne of South-
field; sons and daughters-in-
law, Dr. Alan and Gail of Ann
Arbor, Dr. Joel and Anita Ger-
ber of Wilmette, Ill., David and
Skye of Ashland, Ore.; sister
and brother-in-law, Esther and
Charles Siegel of Tamarac, Fla.;
brothers and sister-in-law, A.
Albert and Beatrice of West
Bloomfield, Dr. Maurice and
Norma of Southfield, Barney
and Minnie Broner of West
Bloomfield; six grandchil-
dren. ❑
