Gerald and Beverly Viedrah of
West Bloomfield are pleased to
announce the engagement of
their daughter, Monique An-
drea, to Kenneth Eric Berman,
son of Roz Berman and Jerry
Licht of Farmington Hills. Ken
also is the son of the late John
Edward Berman.
Monique received her bach-
elor of arts degree in social work
and earned a bachelor of science

degree in education from Michi-
gan State University and is
both certified and endorsed to
teach in Michigan. She is work-
ing on a master's of education
in reading and language arts
while pursuing a career in ed-
ucational publication.
Her fiance, Ken, works as a
service consultant and techni-
cian at a Chevrolet dealership.
A May wedding is planned.

Harry Glenn Parr, son of Sima
and Jerry Parr of Southfield.
Allison is the daughter of the
late Arthur Woll.
Allison earned a joint mas-
ter's degree in public policy and
fine arts from Carnegie Mellon
University. She is the manager

of development for Youtheatre
in Music Hall Center.
Harry completed his medical
school training from Michigan
State College of Osteopathic
Medicine. In July, he will begin
a residency in anesthesiology,
following his current internship
at Botsford General Hospital.
A February wedding is
planned at Temple Beth El.
