The Midrasha Center for Adult
Jewish Learning will offer two
new Hebrew classes for adult
learners beginning the week of
Jan. 3. Classes will run for 12
weeks with an option to con-
tinue after Passover. There is a
tuition charge plus a book fee.
Classes will meet at the
Midrasha, 21550 West 12 Mile
Road, Southfield, and are con-
tingent on enrollment.
On Monday nights from 7:30
to 9:30 p.m., starting Jan. 3,
Midrasha will offer "Magic He-
brew Plus," a continuation of
last fall's nine-week "Magic He-
brew" class, for students who
have had approximately two
months of Hebrew language in-
struction.
On Wednesday nights from
7:30 to 9:30 p.m., starting Jan.
5, Midrasha will offer "Total Be-
ginner Conversational Hebrew,"
taught by Ahuva Newman, for
adults who have had no previ-
ouis conversational Hebrew.
Registration will be available
in advance and on the first
night of class. There is a dis-
count for seniors and for fami-
ly members in the same
household who sign up to study
Hebrew together. For informa-
