Youth Choir
Is Formed

Chanukah Event
At Beth Achim

Adat Shalom Synagogue will
form a 4th-7th grade Youth
Choir. Under the direction of
Michelle Rott, and in coopera-
tion with Cantor Howard
Glantz, the children will meet
on Shabbat mornings at 10 a.m.
beginning Dec. 4. Following the
choir meetings, the children will
participate in Junior Congre-
gation Services at 11 a.m.
The choir will take part in
the community's Youth Zim-
riya, Adat Shalom Junior
Congregation and services in
the main sanctuary.

Youth Choir, call the religious
school office, 626-2153.

The students of the Beth Achim
branch of the Congregational
Religious School will present a
program titled "Chanukah at
the Greenbergs" 11:30 am. Dec.
12 at the synagogue.
Refreshments will also be
served at the program's con-
clusion.

Temple Beth El
Spaghetti Party

The Young People's Society of
Temple Beth El will host a tem-
ple-wide dinner and comedy show
6:30 p.m. Dec. 18. The Ultimate
Spaghetti Party will feature pas-
ta and improvisational comedy
by Comedy Sportz, geared for
families. A Havdalah service will
follow the program.
There is a charge; proceeds
will benefit Temple projects.

Youth Events
At Adat Shalom

Youngsters in the Adat Shalom
Synagogue Nursery School and
Religious School will celebrate
Chanukah in a series of pro-
grams in December.
On Dec. 9, families of
preschoolers in the nursery
school will light the Chanuki-
ah and sing along with Marc
Thomas and Max the Moose.
The event, set for 7-8 p.m. is
open to the community.
Those who wish to attend
should call the Adat Shalom
nursery school office, 851-
5105, by Dec. 7.
The synagogue's religious
school will focus on the fam-
ily celebration of Chanukah
in L'ilmod B'yachad, a fami-
ly education program on Dec.
5. The event is being planned
for parents and students in
the Bet classes.
