The U.S. Senate Foreign Affairs
Committee decided to delay the
approval of the Israel-U.S. tax
treaty to prevent double taxa-
tion, pending clarifications from
Israel about U.S. tax authori-
ties' access to bank accounts in
Israel.
The Foreign Affairs Com-

mittee approved seven tax
treaties, while the approval of
the treaty with Israel was de-
layed.
According to reports, the rea-
son for the decision, in the
