Volunteers Needed
For Campaign
F
irst-time and experienced
volunteers of all ages will
have the opportunity to
perform a mitzvah next
month for tens of thousands of
Jews who receive help from the
Allied Jewish Campaign.
Beginning with Super Week
'94, Jan. 14-24, volunteers will
perform clerical tasks, call for
pledges in support of the annu-
al Campaign, enlist other vol-
unteers, register workers and
set up and decorate rooms for
Campgaign events.
Volunteers are
needed for
Phonathons.
Women who wish to volun-
teer are invited to Phonogift,
the Jewish Federation
Women's Division annual tele-
phone appeal Jan. 16, 17 and
24. Phone shifts will be avail-
able 9 a.m.- noon and noon-3
p.m. Jan. 16, 3-6 p.m. and 6-9
p.m. Jan. 17 and 24 at the Max
M. Fisher Building.
On Super Sunday, Jan. 23,
the community-wide telephone
appeal, three shifts will be avail-
able at the Max M. Fisher
Building. 9:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m.,
11:45 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and 6-9
p.m. Federations's Young Adult
Division will have its phonathon
during the 6 p.m. shift. Board
members of the Federation, its
agencies and planning divisions
will have their own shift from 2
to 4:45 p.m.
Volunteers also will be need-
ed for the Days of Decision
Phonathons next spring and for
other Campaign events that
benefit more than 60 beneficia-
ry agencies fo the Jewish Fed-
eration of Metropolitan Detroit.
