Rabbi Efry Spectre will give a slide presentation on "Gerona: The Rededication of a Medieval Spanish Center of Jewish Learning." The talk is based on his visit to Spain several years ago. Irving Howe Celebration The Sholem Aleichem Institute will celebrate the life of Irving Howe — the man, the literary critic, the socialist idealist and the Yiddishist 8:30 p.m. Dec. 3 at Franklin Pointe clubhouse.
