Harlene Winnick Appel- man has been teaching, di- recting and creating family education programs for 10 years. In addition to her work as director of education ser- vices for the Agency for Jew- ish Education, she is presently the director of field services for the Whizin Insti- tute for the Family of the University of Judaism and the editor of Jewish Family for Torah Aura Productions. Lynda Giles is a clinical psychologist in private prac- tice in Bloomfield Hills. She is an officer and serves on the board of the Agency for Jew- ish Education. As a leader of JEFF, she created the Insti- tute for Single Jewish Moth- ers in Metropolitan Detroit. Sherry Margolis came from Buffalo to WJBK-TV2 Eye- witness News team as a weekday anchor in Septem- ber of 1984. A spokesperson for the Cystic Fibrosis Foun- dation, she has also been in- volved in fund raising for the Mental Illness Research As- sociation, Channel 56, the Haven, Children's Miracle Network, Children of Cher- nobyl and Myasthenia Gravis.
