Singer-Balamut

David Jonathan Balamut and
Lory Singer were married re-
cently in an outdoor ceremony
at Morel's in Southfield. Rab-
bi Harold Loss, of Temple
Israel, and the bride's grand-
father, Melvin Goldman of Boca
Raton, Fla, officiated at the cer-
emony.
David is the son of Sharon
and Michael Balamut of West
Bloomfield. Lory is the daugh-
ter of Janet Weisberg of Naples,

Fla., and Dany Singer of Tole-
do, Ohio.
Attending David and Lory
were their brothers, Todd Bal-
amut, Randy Balamut of
Tempe, Ariz., and Benjamin
Singer of Naples. Amanda Far-
ber, cousin of the groom, was
the flower girl.
After a honeymoon in north-
ern Canada, David and Lory
are residing in West Bloomfield.

Dana Stone and Jon Abrahams
were recently married at Con-
gregation Shaarey Zedek. Rab-
bis Irwin Groner and Richard
Hertz and Cantor Chaim Naj-
man officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Beverly and Howard Stone, and
the groom is the son of Phyllis
and Ken Abrams.
Lisa Stone, the bride's sister,
was the maid of honor. Brides-
maids were Ellen Abrahams,
Jamie Auster, Margo Bockoff,
Susan Jaffe, Jodi Maza, Lisa
Newman and Julie Schwartz.
Howard Abrahams, the

groom's brother, was the best
man. Groomsmen were David
Adelstein, Andy Beemer, Alan
Blatnikoff, Jeff Camiener, Gary
Chapnick, Mark Fisher, Jeff
Frank, Doug Freidenstine and
Marc Kay.
Also participating in the cer-
emony were the bride's grand-
mother, Jeanette Schwartz and
the groom's grandmothers, Es-
ther Abrahams and Rose
Williams.
Following a honeymoon in
Jamaica, the Abrahams are re-
siding in Birmingham.
