The computer communica- tions provider announced a net loss of $1.9 million in the third quarter compared with a net loss of $3 million the same quar- ter 1nst year. During this year's second quarter, the firm showed a net loss of $1.3 million on rev- enues of $13.4 million. Even though revenues dropped during the quarter, Fi- bronics reported that orders at the beginning of the fourth quarter were up by 40 percent to $4.3 million, compared to or- ders at the beginning of the third quarter. Fibronics president Gil Weisser pointed out that the company is continuing to cut its costs and take efficiency mea- sures.
